These prices are guidelines only, and do not constitute specific prices for particular jobs. Prices may go up or down, depending on all factors of the project.

Presentation Folder

Design of a folder that may contain high-level information for the company on the outside/inside. Includes two rounds of changes, recommendations for paper stock, and print management.

Annual Report

Two design concepts for cover and one inside spread. One face-to-face meeting (to present initial concepts). Development of chosen concept. Two rounds of changes. Up to two graphs/charts/maps. Does not include photography/illustration, but does include supervision of photography/illustration.

20 pages: $4,500 – $7,000
32 pages: $5,800 – $8,300

Would recommend budgeting at least $2,000 for photography/illustration. If this isn’t possible we will make do with design elements and iStockPhoto.

Product Packaging

Presentation of 3 design concepts, and development of chosen design to completion. Does not include design of boxes or additional packaging, only graphics applied directly to the product container. Does not involve market research or test marketing. Includes two rounds of revisions.

Book Jacket

Concept, design, and presentation of finished front cover, back cover, and spine. Includes supervision of illustration/photography, presentation of at least 3 concept layouts, and a final comprehensive. Does not include billable expenses. Rights licensed for use on first edition only. Adapting design for softcover version is subject to additional cost.

Whitepaper/manual/textbook (or other document with simple formatting)

Concept, design, and presentation of finished front cover and insides. Includes presentation of 2 concepts for the front cover and insides. Does not include billable expenses, such as photography. Assumes final text is supplied; text changes would be subject to additional charges.

Design: $1,800 (design charges apply to first issue/edition only, assuming no design changes for subsequent issues/editions)
Book page makeup: $23 / page
Charts/graphs: $90 each (approximately, depending on complexity)

Print Ad

Design of ad for placement in a print publication. Includes one concept and two rounds of client-requested changes. Includes reasearch for (but not licencing of) appropriate stock imagery.

Spread: $760 – $850
Full page: $630 – $720
Half page: $495 – $585
Quarter page: $360 – $450
Additional concepts: $180 – $270 each
