The Challenge
After creating a logo for Corea Sotropa Interior Design, Atom Graphics was asked to create a website for the company based on the new identity established. This Interior Design firm brings inspiration and creative design to large residential renovations and new home builds. They assist with space planning, custom millwork, flooring choices, finishes selection, wall treatments, paint colors, fabric selections, window treatments, custom furniture, and art selection. Corea Sotropa Interior Design required a website that would communicate their style and their expertise. The main focus of this website would be the creation of a portfolio, showing samples of the firm’s impressive projects.
The Solution
Atom Graphics designed a site based on a balanced blend of clean contemporary lines with some old world, European charm. The colors on the site are bright but also have a vintage feel. The typefaces are a mix of flourish and plain and complement the nuanced, delicate design. Atom Graphics arranged a photo session with John Gaucher Photography to capture portraits for the ‘Who We Are’ page. The fabric samples on the contact page were chosen by the client and were custom photographed for this purpose. Writing assistance was provided by Jill Hilderman of Nimble Communications. Once the design was completed, Stone Monkey Media implemented the site development.
The Results
The simplicity of this design meant an effective, affordable design for modest needs. The site is easy to navigate and has a clean design that reflects the firm’s identity.
